Friday: mayyyyyyybe I will cook something but probably not.
Our church is having revival this week and so I won't be cooking much at all, if any.
I will be back with a meal plan next week. In the mean time you can check out a few of my favorite food blogs for ideas:
Mix & Match Mama
Our Best Bites
The Pioneer Woman
You can also click the "Recipes" tab at the top of my page and some of my favorites are listed there!
Lastly, I will leave you with a few words from last night...
Brother Bob Pitman is speaking at our church this week and we studied from Habakkuk last night. Habakkuk is speaking in chapter 3 about God bringing His judgement down on the earth. Part of that judgement is taking away many of the vital necessities ...
Though the f i g t r e e does not bud
and there are no g r a p e s on the vine
though the o l i v e crop fails
and the fields produce no f r u i t ,
though there are no s h e e p in the pen
and no c a t t l e in the stalls...
<< Y E T >>
I will rejoice in the L O R D,
I will be
J o Y F u L
G O D my S A V i O R.
Notice the vital necessities are mentioned in this verse...
figs, grapes, olives, fruit, sheep, cattle...
and the Lord has taken them away in His anger.
But notice the next word:
Y E T...
If you feel like all is hopeless,
like all has gone wrong,
like your life is on a downward spiral,
like nothing is worth living for,
like God isn't listening to you,
like no one understands you,
like you are A L O N E...
REJOICE in GOD YOUR SAVIOR.
REJOICE in the power of "YET..."
GOD IS NOT FINISHED YET.
No matter how bad things may seem,
trust Him and rest in Him.
He delights in you. He loves you.
He will never leave you.
And He LONGS for you to trust him.
Although this page in your life might hold

the STORY is a beautiful one.
Because He writes beautiful stories.
He LOVES you, friend.
And He's not finished.
Not y e t .
Not y e t .
