Our first official "fall" trip to the Compound (which, if you're new around here, "The Compound" is just a funny nickname for the land my parents, grandparents and aunts live on!) was the last weekend in September. The air was crisp in the mornings and the leaves were beginning to change, so even though it was officially fall, it actually felt like fall too, which was nice. We had a great weekend playing with our cousins, making a short trip to a local pumpkin patch and watching college football. We also went to my late Uncle Jimmy's house where some of our cousins were selling some of his things. I love vintage kitchen supplies and so I was able to bring home a few things that belonged to him, which of course made my heart happy. Enjoy the pictures!
