My sister is due any day now with her sweet baby boy and I told her that if she wasn't going to start a blog, that I'd just have to blog for her. :) I was dying to show yall these pictures of her nursery. I think she did an amazing job putting it all together and I know precious Owen will love his room.
My favorite thing by far is the gallery wall - most of these were thrift store frames that she painted and then filled with sweet little touches; mom appliquéd their dogs' faces onto some fabric and I think it is so funny; Gertie is their Boston terrier and Willie is a beagle.
Mom also hand embroidered this hedgehog and elephant. Of course she did.
Mom and I found the diaper holder at consignment last year and she covered the original monogram with Owen's initials.
She also covered these canvases with gray and white dot fabric that she appliquéd to spell his name.
The bedding is from Pottery Barn Kids.
I told her this gown made me want another boy; like NOW. Not gonna happen. :(
She's packed and ready to go!
Mom made the curtains and she also did the cross stitch alphabet there on the wall; it hung in my nursery when I was a baby as well as Mary Ella's. The glider was also in M.E's nursery.
We are ready for you, sweet baby boy! Can't wait to meet you and kiss those cheeks!
