Most of this week's phone pictures are of Sam...
On Wednesday, he got his first professional haircut. He needed it bad.
But I did not want it to be short. Just a trim is what I told Chad. Well, he looks like a big boy now.
Sigh. Oh well, it will grow! Hopefully fast.
He also got his first pair of New Balance. For any mamas of new walkers, or almost-walkers, New Balance are the #1 recommended shoe! Our physical therapist suggested them for Sambo and it's been amazing how much more comfortable he looks when taking practice steps.
They come in wide sizes too, which is great. He wears a size 5 wide.
Helping to 'unload' the dishwasher (before the dishes have even been washed, mind you.)
Stainless steel refrigerators are not magnet-friendly. But for some reason our dishwasher is!
So Sam has been loving him some magnets.
We bought him the fridge farm recently and he enjoys it.
Here's one of Miss Priss. I'd say she's in costume about 80% of the time.
Waiting on Daddy to get home from work.
Then crawling away as fast as he can when he actually hears Daddy coming in downstairs.
He and Mary Ella try to hide from him but Sam usually doesn't make it too far!
He's learned to pull up to the piano! Big boy.
Snuggle time with Daddy
His feet are crossed all the time. Mary Ella was the same way.
The night before his haircut. Rocking the Bieber 'swoop bang.'
And here it is combed forward. Yeah, he needed it cut, I know. Bless.
And again, with his haircut. OH, and an outfit that you'll never see him in again.
(I did break down and buy him the $3.88 Garanimals khaki pants, only because his thin gingham pants just will not suffice in this freezing cold weather and his 2 pairs of curdoroys were in the wash.)
So don't be getting used to these big boy clothes! Mama can't handle it just yet.
The haircut + the New Balance shoes in one week = toomuch.
Family shot at church Wednesday night
And on the way to school yesterday. Rocking their new coats. I'm a little jealous of them.
Widgeon coats are the warmest coats ever.
And finally, this afternoon I hear both kids laughing hysterically. I walk in Sam's room (where he had been asleep since around 10:30 this morning), and find this...
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Mary Ella is having her first ever Christmas tea party and ornament swap tomorrow morning with the little girls from our neighborhood. Hoping it will be the first of many!
