1. Please pray for the Crowe family. Noah Crowe, in particular. He is so precious and is fighting a battle that only God can win for him. Lift them up when you have a chance! You can read more about them here.
2. If you don't have plans this weekend and you live in Alabama, here's a little something you should do... Go see the movie OCTOBER BABY. It is a faith based film written by a lady named Theresa Preston, whose daughter is in Mary Ella's class at school. Theresa helped me with the Halloween party yesterday and I found out through talking to her that she is embarking on an exciting adventure! She is a stay at home mom who writes in her spare time, and now just so happens to be the writer of a film! This film is showing in about 15 theaters this weekend; if the movie has a great turnout, it will go nationwide like "Courageous" and "FireProof." The film is about a young lady who discovers that she is the product of a failed abortion. You can see one of the trailers here as well as read about the film. They also have a FaceBook group so you can look them up there for updates, theaters, etc. I know that, in Birmingham, it will be showing at the Alabaster Amstar and the Rave in Patton Creek. It will also be showing in Montgomery, Huntsville, Mobile, Dothan; not sure about Florence. But if you have a chance, go see it!
