First of all I'd like to say that if you have children that are well, healthy, have been free of colds/sinus infections/strep/etc then you are BLESSED. We have not been very fortunate in that department over the last month. I'm trying my hardest not to complain and be a buzz kill here, but when you've got one or both children sick, then you get sick, then you give it BACK to one or both children, and you're spending your outings at the pediatrician's office and otherwise you are stuck inside or at the pharmacy counter, then life starts to become not-so-fun and you start getting a little CRAZY and going NUTS. That's been my life for the last 4 weeks and I'm hoping and praying that we are on the upswing, although Sam has a terrible congested cough (no fever though, which is good.) Please, please, Lord, let this be the end of our sickness for a long, long time. Amen.
Now... on to what we've been up to...
Oh, wait. That is what we've been up to. Pediatrician. Pharmacy. Antibiotics. Cold Medicine. CrazyMama. Yep, that about sums it up.
I'm thankful, don't get me wrong, because there are many people who are in far worse situations. I'm trying to do my best to count my blessings and look on the bright side... I just haven't been too good about that lately. I really am trying, though!
I hope everyone has a fun-filled, sugar high Halloween weekend! We're looking forward to trick-or-treating on our street, which comes complete with a chili cook-off and lots of spooktacular surprises! We'll show off our costumes tomorrow! Until then, be blessed! (And healthy!)
