We have AIR! It was a blistering 88 degrees today... in our house! But shortly after 2pm, that all changed, and Kent the air conditioner man came to my rescue. Luckily, the part that was causing the air conditioner to freeze was still under warranty so all we paid was $99 for the labor. THANK YOU LORD! Right now we've got the thermostat set on 76 and it feels like an ICE CHEST in here! Ha! Maybe this will save us some money this summer. That'd be nice!
Unfortunately, we also have A BUG! Mary Ella has some sort of stomach bug right now and has been through about 75 diapers today. I am glad she is not throwing up, but her poor little bottom is getting so irritated. We are changing runny, watery-poopy diapers at least 2-3 times an HOUR and going through Boudreaux's like it's going out of style. Her appetite is pretty poor right now but she's drinking Pedialyte so hopefully we won't have to go to the doctor this week. Please pray I do not get this bug! I certainly could not handle it right now. The good thing is that she feels fine. She was wimpy this morning at school so I went to get her early, but all afternoon she played and swam in her pool and we even went to the Baron's baseball game tonight and she marched around acting like she owned the place. So I'm hoping it's just a 24 hour thing.
Well, I'm going to bed. In my own bed. In my cool, 76-degree bedroom. Goodnight!
