Had my last appointment today and everything is still the same. Well, my fluid was higher but still in the normal range, and they said it will fluctuate like that, so no worries. Dr. H said the good thing about having lots of fluid is that I'll probably lose half my weight just having the baby. Works for me! I had an ultrasound and NST again this morning and Baby Sam was kicking like crazy. I am not dilated or thinned out at all and I have lost 2 pounds. I am measuring 39 weeks, so this time I am a week ahead; probably something to do with the fluid being higher. All in all a good appointment and I go in a week from Wednesday at 10am for the big day! The c-section is scheduled for 12 noon. I am really excited about it; a bit apprehensive as well, thinking about the pain and everything, but I know the Lord will take care of me; I just can't worry about it.
We've enjoyed a couple of days at our pool so far and Mary Ella loves it. I am glad to be getting some sun since I know I'll be stuck indoors for at least a couple weeks with the baby. I plan to get to the pool as much as possible, though, even when he gets here. I can't deprive big sister of some summer fun! We're going back tomorrow and probably every day this week. I'm trying to soak up these last few days with Mary Ella being my only baby. :(
