Good Snacks

It's hard to find something to eat these days. Most of the time nothing sounds good, and the rest of the time whatever does sound good is either too inconvenient to go and get or in a completely different town. (Like Trowbridge's chicken salad sandwich and an ice cold Diet Coke with that crunchy ice... yum. But in Florence. So boo.) I am having to eat something every 2-3 hours to keep from getting sick. So usually it's English muffins, apples with peanut butter, bananas with peanut butter, cheese toast, etc. But all that is getting OLD so I need new ideas. Snack ideas. And before the suggestions come flying at me, here is what I absolutely cannot eat right now:

  • sandwich meat
  • anything Mexican-ish
  • cereal with milk
  • Campbell's soup (gag)
  • anything with the slightest weird smell

And here is something Chad picked up for me last night that is so far hitting the spot:

These things are really good! And they are 100 calories. They taste more like a Pop Tart than a Fig Newton. Crispy and fruity. He also bought me some Publix spinach dip and I'm hoping I don't devour the whole carton by the time he gets home tonight.

Ok, I welcome your suggestions now.

I love yogurt, too. I hate that I ever even tried the yobaby yogurt b/c it tastes so good and creamy compared to low fat yogurt! Good thing Sam's outgrown Yobaby. Back to the less fat/less sugar yogurt!

Also on my snacking/meal list right now:
-Sugar Snap Peas
-Nuts
-Fresh fruit
-Wheat toast with almond butter
-Pirate's Booty/Veggie Booty
-Baby carrots/spinach/spouts with light italian dressing and cranberries (weird, huh?)
-Graham crackers
-Baked sweet potatoes

This might sound crazy but my pregnant teacher friend would eat this...and then I would start craving it.
Walnuts and raisins...mix them together and eat.
Actually, I am craving it now...Tasty and healthy!
